We have been in Bloomington, Indiana for the past four days and it has been nothing short of delightful. We are staying on the campus of IU, inside the student union/hotel, and it has been really nice to be a part of this beautiful university. The campus is beautiful, with nice architecture and so much to see and do. In the union there are tons of places to sit, study, eat, drink, shop, etc. Right outside of the campus there are unending restaurant choices from BBQ to Vegan, Jimmy Johns to noodles and company, sushi to Indian food, Irish pubs to pizza joints! Needless to say we all love it here.
The show has been going well, and we have started understudy rehearsals! Sam (assoc. director) finally returned to us after about 5 weeks and he is such a joy to work with. Sam is truly the actors director, and so inspiring! I only had one day with him, but I can't wait for all the work we have ahead of us. He guaranteed us that we will ALL be going on for our roles. Exciting!
Well, we've got an 8am bus call tomorrow morning, so that's all folks!
